Jc. Rtn. P.R. Elangovan Rengasamy is an Indian entrepreneur, business speaker and community leader who serves as Director of Senela International Ventures Pvt. Ltd. Over the course of his career he has built a reputation for turning practical business knowledge into real growth for the people he works with.

Much of his work centres on the Government e-Marketplace (GeM). Through educational webinars and hands-on training sessions, he guides MSMEs, start-ups and entrepreneurs through GeM registration, compliance and the strategy needed to win and sustain government business — demystifying a process that many small businesses find daunting.

P-R-Elangovan

An engineer by training and an entrepreneur by practice, Mr. R. Elangovan has spent more than thirty years building businesses across pre-engineered steel manufacture, oil and gas projects, and agro-value product manufacturing.

What connects those ventures is a consistent instinct for where a market is moving, and the discipline to build an organisation capable of meeting it — not only to win the work, but to deliver it.

Alongside his professional work, he is an active contributor to global service organisations. As a Jaycee (Jc.) he is associated with Junior Chamber International (JCI), the worldwide leadership-development movement for young citizens, and as a Rotarian (Rtn.) he is involved with Rotary International, supporting community development, humanitarian service and networking.

In September 2012, he was recognised as a Level I Certified Installer by the BISOL PV Academy, the training arm of BISOL Group, a photovoltaic module manufacturer based in Prebold, Slovenia. The certification covered location assessment, installation of the BISOL EasyMount mounting system, PV module installation, electrical wiring and off-grid solar system installation, reflecting his early hands-on expertise in solar energy.

More recently he has worked as an international export and import consultant, using a network built over three decades to open trade routes between India and the Gulf.
